How Fleet Pricing on a Work Van Works | Your Fleet Source
HOW IT WORKS

Buying a work truck should take a phone call

Here is exactly what happens from the first conversation to the day the unit shows up at your yard.

01

The spec call

Fifteen minutes, usually less. Ask for Mike or Debbie. We ask what the truck has to do, not what you were thinking of buying. Payload, roof height, towing, route miles, how many techs use it, and what broke on the last one.

02

We price it on the fleet account

We check your spec against 600+ commercial units in stock. The number comes back off a Fleet Account Number held with the manufacturer, which is not pricing a dealership can quote you. If nothing in stock fits, we price a factory order instead.

03

Options and honest numbers

You get the units that fit, what each one costs, what delivery runs, and where the tradeoffs are. If the cheaper one is going to cost you more over three years, we will say so.

04

Paperwork and delivery

Title, tag, and the rest of the paperwork handled before the truck moves. Then it is delivered to your yard, anywhere in the country, so nobody on your crew loses a day picking it up. If it needs shelving, we point you at the upfitter we trust.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Four answers and we can get started

You do not need a spec sheet. Most of our customers describe the job in a sentence and we take it from there.

Leasing

We sell the vehicles. If leasing suits your books better, we hand you to the commercial leasing company we work with and they take it from there. No pressure either way, and you are still buying at the fleet number.

Delivery

Anywhere in the country, straight to your yard. Florida moves fastest: Tampa Bay, Orlando, Miami, Fort Myers, Sarasota and Jacksonville. Delivery is quoted with the unit so there is no surprise line on the invoice.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Straight answers

Buyers with a business commercial account. That account is what lets you order at all, and it is what puts the number below what a dealership can sell at. An LLC or corporation can open one. Personal buyers cannot, so this is not open to them.

Our people came out of the rental fleet world, and buying volume is pooled through a cooperative model. We hold Fleet Account Numbers with many of the leading manufacturers, so vehicles are bought direct at fleet level rather than off a dealer lot. That difference lands on your invoice.

No. You qualify under ours. What you do need is your own business commercial account, which we confirm before anything is ordered. Nothing else gets handed off to you and there is no application with the manufacturer.

No, and you would not want to. The 600+ units we can pull from are spread across the country, which is exactly why the selection beats any one lot. We match your spec against all of it and deliver the one that fits.

One truck is fine. A lot of our customers start with a single replacement van and come back when the next one is due.

No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Shelving is a trade of its own. On a unit that is already built we point you to a proper upfitter. If you order from the factory, shelving can be built in before the van ships, which is usually the cleaner answer.

Yes. We work with a commercial leasing company and make the introduction. Tell us on the first call and we will bring them in early rather than after you have picked a unit.

Common specs like a standard high roof cargo van usually move quickly. Something specific, like a non CDL 26 foot reefer with a liftgate, takes longer, and a factory order runs on the manufacturer’s calendar. We give you a real timeline on the first call rather than a guess.

We deliver anywhere in the country, straight to your yard. Delivery is quoted with the unit up front, as its own line, so there are no surprises.

You pay for the vehicle at the fleet price we quote. Delivery is quoted separately up front, and tax, title, tag, registration, and dealer fees are additional.

NEXT STEP

Start with the spec call

Send the spec or just describe the job. We come back with what is in stock, the fleet price, a delivery quote, and how fast we can have it at your yard. A business commercial account is required to order. Ask for Mike or Debbie.
